Village Green Nursery School is dedicated to providing a caring, supportive and developmentally
appropriate environment, offering a wide variety of activities designed to reflect each child’s interests
and abilities. Our goal is to help children grow toward their potential, discover the joy of learning and
enjoy a rewarding preschool experience.

The 3 Year-Old Program meets T/Th from 9:00-12:00
The 4 Year-Old Program meets M/W/F from 9:00-12:00*
*Extended Day Program: M/W/F option to extend the day to 1:30

Meet Our Staff

Tina Michaud: 3’s & 4’s Head Teacher, Apple Blossom Room

Tina Michaud has lived in Southington with her family since 2004. She attended Eastern CT ST University and received a BA Degree in child psychology. Tina earned her elementary teaching certificate at Central CT State University.  She has taught both preschool and kindergarten. After Tina had her girls she took time off to be home with them and now she is happy to be teaching again.  She has years of volunteering experience from helping kids with academics in the classroom to running
the drama club. Tina has been teaching at VGNS since 2018.

Michelle Beauregard: Director

Michelle Beauregard has been working in the field of Early Childhood for over 25 years. She has worked in all kinds of early childhood settings, including center based, public school based, NAEYC Accredited, School Readiness, and as a Family Child Care provider. Michelle is a graduate of the Southington public school system, holds a BA in Psychology from CCSU, and a MS in Early Childhood Studies from Walden University.
Michelle grew up in Southington and currently lives here with her family and her pets. In her spare time Michelle enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time in the sun. She is an active board member and past chairperson of the Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington, as well as a volunteer tutor for the Literacy Volunteers of Central Connecticut. Michelle believes that giving back to the community is vital to a community’s success.
